Hi there...I was wondering if you recall what town in Puerto Rico it was that you saw that sign. I would really like to be able to go there and get some pics of that great sign myself. Thanks.

Hello Hermosa Vintage - I have this shirt too although it is size Medium. Is it true the larger sizes sell for more? I am on the fence as to framing the shirt or selling it! I have never used eBay and wonder if you have a suggestion of locating a buyer.
Thank you,
Cameron

Julius- Yes, someone is reading your comments. I'm just another W & G lover and appreciated your comments very much. I too have been searching for the next best thing, and frankly haven't found anything comparable. I did find a Barbour Field Jacket in their Beacon Heritage Collection, but it's awfully expensive. I've got to admit, it's a beauty, though. I guess that in general Orvis is the closest to any retailer who handles the sort of clothing we're looking for.

My father and I used to manufacture men's western pants and also dress pants for H & C and also California Ranchwear. There was a gentleman that I dealt with named Sam Gendus, who was a wonderful guy to work with. I've often wondered if he is alive. He told me that he was a World War II fighter pilot in the pacific theater. If you were to have any info on this I'd aprreciate you letting me know. Thanks

Nowadays, to be honest, I can't imagine walking round wearing an Axl t-shirt. But these are lovely.

Actually that Thompson Twins shirt was not so rare. Saw several of them sold for less than $30 the past few months. However I've never seen a Cutting Crew shirt for sale, and they did have one epic hit.
